The 8th Annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The 8th Annual Y-Bridge Arts Festival is fast approaching.
Beginning Friday August 5th, more than 150 artists will display and sell their artwork at the Zane’s Landing Park. Festival Director, Bob Grayson, said the two-day event is the downtown Art Colony’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
“The children area is free, it is underwritten by several sponsors and they’ll be entertained by the McDonald’s Farm Petting Zoo on Friday evening. On Saturday there will also be the Wilds bringing animals in and the K9 unit. The kids also gets to have a paint party on the hour on Saturday” said Bob Grayson.
Grayson said this event is free and open to the public and said their overall goal is to promote the local arts.
“Zanesville has become an art district and we are known all over the state for now becoming a very fast growing trendy art community. We want tourist, visitors and people to come to Zanesville one special weekend, that would be a tourist destination that’s being promoted by the Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Tourism and all the art community to know that Zanesville is on the map representing the arts extremely well,” said Bob Grayson.
The event kicks off Friday August 5th from 6 p.m to 10 p.m and will go on Saturday from 11 a.m to 11 p.m.
