The Barn Is The Set For Short Film “Selfish Seven”

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â Many locals gathered at The Barn to be a part of a film.
Actor, co-writer, and co-director Bryan Friday is in town shooting his film “Selfish Seven” which is takes place in Zanesville. In 2015, The Barn fund raised for this film and many supporters have been asked to be extras in the film. Friday said he is pleasantly surprised with the amount of people that came out.
“The ones that actually showed up I went oh wow,” Friday said. “This is more than we actually need. I think we have 20 or so this morning and then we’ll have another 20 in the afternoon. Yeah, it’s been great.”
Friday said this film could have been shot anywhere but he really wanted to keep it in the buckeye state.
“We really wanted to keep it here. We really wanted to keep the Ohio feel and especially the Zanesville area. So everyone knows that this is us. This is what we’re about and we want to do it here,” Friday said.
