The Chamber of Commerce and Jaycees Golf Outing

Local businesses come together to network while enjoying some golf.

The Annual Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and Jaycees Golf Outing took place at the Jaycees’ Golf Course. Chamber of Commerce President, Dana Matz said this is a fun opportunity to meet new people and network.

“This is an annual tradition for us to bring our members together. It’s a great way for our members to network, it’s a great way for our member to reward their employees and bring out customers and just interact. We have 23 teams playing today and it’s a warm day, we feed them with local food and local volunteers it’s a fun event,” said Dana Matz.

Matz said the overall goal of this event is for the Chamber of Commerce to help other area businesses.

“There’s many services that we offer that can help them save money on workers comp., help them learn safety in the workplace but, there’s also a networking network that is important for organization to provide to our members and this is one of them,” said Matz.

Lunch was served at 11 a.m with a shotgun start an hour later.
