The Community Bank’s Drive-Thru Shred Day draws crowds

ZANESVILLE, OH- The Community Bank in Zanesville hosted their annual Drive-Thru Shred Day this morning.

Drive-Thru Shred Day allows the community to bring unwanted paperwork that contains sensitive information to be safely destroyed for free. They also offer free electronic recycling.

“It’s important because everybody has things that they need to get rid of and it’s a safe way and fun way to get rid of those items that just keep piling up in the house and it’s an opportunity to get out of the house and meet new people and see The Community Bank smiling faces when they come through to drop their items off,” Lisa Karling, AVP/Central Market Mortgage Officer and Junior Board of Directors Advisor said.

Members of The Community Bank’s Junior Board were also there to help the event run smoothly.

“My favorite part about being on the junior board is just meeting others in the community and learning things about business,” Regan Davis, The Community Bank Junior Board member said.

The Community Bank plans to hold another Drive-Thru Shred Day next year. For more information you can contact the Community Bank in Zanesville at 740-454-1600.
