The K9 Adoption Center’s Beloved Dog of The Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – This week at the K9 Adoption Center, a tail-wagging bundle of joy has stolen the spotlight as the Dog of The Week.
Maisie, a three-year-old terrier mix, is on the lookout for a forever home filled with love, playtime, and endless belly rubs. Her sweet and calm demeanor makes her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend. While Maisie loves people, she can be selective about her canine friends.
“She loves to go for car rides. She never meets a stranger. She’s actually one of the volunteer’s favorites. She would be an outright good dog for anybody who would like the interact with her every day. She loves to sit on your lap and just be around you, she’s very affectionate,” K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid said.
The K9 Adoption Center is currently full and facing an urgent need for adoption to ensure every dog can find a loving and permanent home. If you are missing a dog, the adoption center encourages checking with them so they can help reunite you with your pet. They are also calling for volunteers to help care for their current residents.
“We have multiple dogs of all sizes and all breeds that are up for adoption. We also offer a “foster to adopt” program. If that would be something you’re interested in, stop by and talk to a staff member,” McQuaid said.
