The Kevin Martin Youth Foundation Grants Holiday Wish

For the Kevin Martin Youth Foundation it’s "A Season Of Making A Difference."

Ten local families in need were chosen by Zanesville native and NBA star Kevin Martin and local business man Tim Mchugh to receive an All-Star Christmas. Friday, Kevin Martin Youth Foundation volunteers dropped off dozens of gifts to one of the lucky families, the Pidock’s.

"Today we got with some what I call Santa’s little helpers brought us some gifts, my family some gifts and it’s highly appreciated, we thank you guys very much," said James Pidock.

Those "little helpers" were Zanesville High School student volunteers who came to help distribute presents and holiday cheer. James and his five children Aubree, Leann, Leah, Maria, and Jason were extremely grateful for their plentiful Christmas and are looking forward to opening gifts on Christmas day.

"Just to see the smiles on their faces and just to see them happy, it’s going to make me happy to see them happy," said Pidock.

In addition to the other nine families that will be receiving Christmas gifts. The Kevin Martin Youth Foundation also delivered eight $1,000 checks to different deserving charities within the community this week.
