Stacking Up Supplies for Community Pancake Day

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Working Wonder Women and South Zanesville Fire Chief, Russel Taylor, teamed up to gather supplies for the upcoming Community Pancake Day.
The team is working hard to whip up a batch of community spirit for the 76th annual event. They collected the items from Campbell’s in Duncan Falls, the haul included 3,500 half-pints of milk, 160 gallons of orange juice, and 49 cases of syrup.
“We have 1,000 pounds of sausage being cooked by Philips Processing and the milk stuff is always from here at Campbells in Duncan Falls. We’re good to go and we just want people to show up and have a good time,” South Zanesville Fire Department Chief, Russell Taylor said.
The Community Pancake Day is set to take place Wednesday, November 15 at the Secrest Auditorium in Downtown Zanesville. The event will run from 6am to 7pm. Those who attend will have the option to dine-in, drive-thru, or pick up an order to go.
“It means the world to us and the Working Wonder Women organization. It’s a great opportunity for us to help people during the holidays,” Chief Taylor said.
Community members can enjoy the event by purchasing tickets at the door. Tickets are $10.
