The Stage is Set for Kuntry Jam at La-Z Acres Campgrounds
Country music fans will have a busy weekend ahead of them if they’re planning to go to Kuntry Jam at La-Z Acres Campground.
The three day music festival near Nashport starts this Thursday with the Family Tradition Band at 8:30 p.m. on a stage that brings a high production value to the show.
“Our venue is perfect for it. Lots of friendly people, the bands are outstanding, my sound and light guy, the productions just perfect. The video wall, the line arrays, the sound, it’s just perfect,” said Gale Kirkbride, the owner and operator of La-Z Acres Campground.
The weekend includes eight country music acts, including North to Nashville and Rodney Atkins, with Chris Janson taking the stage for the final performance of Kuntry Jam. A performance that Kirkbride is excited to see.
“I’ve seen him before. He’s a great entertainer, just puts on a great concert. He doesn’t just sing his songs, he jumps around, sings other peoples songs. Maybe he’s had something to do with writing them or friends or whatever. He just puts on a great show. He involves everybody,” Kirkbride said.
Three food trucks and an ice cream truck will be there and attendees are welcome to pack and bring their own coolers and lawn chairs. Ticket options are available for single day or as a three-day package with camp sites also available for an additional cost. More information can be found on La-Z Acres website and on their Facebook page.
