Spring In The Ring Taking Place In Zanesville This Weekend

ZANESVILLE, OH- There is excitement in the air in Zanesville as “Spring In The Ring” is coming this weekend.

The event will be taking place at the Zanesville Police Athletic League facility and boxers from around the area as well as other states will be making their way to box.

This is the first Zanesville Police Athletic League event since the start of the pandemic. Organizers say they are happy to not only start their events back up but to see everyone who they interact with through these shows.

Also, event organizers say they are thankful for the community and local businesses for supporting.

“Spring In The Ring is our first event of the season since COVID we haven’t been able to do any shows or really go to any shows so we are going to be displaying about 20-25 bouts. People coming from different states. Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia. Just the youth going to be displaying some boxing skills,” said Train, who is the Zanesville Police Academy League President.

“Spring In The Ring” will start on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Zanesville Police Athletic League facility.
