Theresa Ann Woods (1937 – 2017

Theresa Ann Woods, 79 of Zanesville, died 3:10 AM, March 24, 2017, at Morrison House Hospice. She was born September 23, 1939, in Zanesville, the daughter of Joseph Henry Paxton and Margaret (Hart) Paxton. She married Franklin G. Woods, Sr. on June 30, 1956 and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Theresa worked at Essex Wire for 17 years and retired from Owens Brockway. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cryptoquotes, crocheting, doll and angel collecting.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Theresa L. Woods, Christina M. Woods and Carolee A. Woods all of Zanesville; 3 sons: Franklin G. Woods, Jr. of Zanesville, Mark S. (Pam) Woods of Hanau, Germany and John A. (Christina) Woods of Gahanna; 4 granddaughters: Jessica Woods, Michelle, Woods, Ariana Woods and Marisa Woods; a brother: Richard Paxton; a nephew: Michael Paxton and 3 special friends: Sara Rush, Eva Adams and Bill Carroll.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter: Laura A. Woods and a sister, Rita Paxton

Visitation will be 10 to 11:45 AM, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue. Graveside Services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, March 29, at Mt.
