Threats Made Against Schools “Not Credible”

Multiple school districts in Ohio including one in Muskingum and several in Licking County receive an e-mail threat Sunday with a bomb threat.
Authorities said these threats are similar in content and language to threats that occurred in recent days in California and Texas.
Authorities said these incidents were deemed to be not credible and were a swatting hoax.
The Ohio Homeland Security Statewide Terrorism Analysis and Crime Center also believe the Ohio threats are a case of swatting. Local officials said while it appears to be a swatting case, authorities and school resource officers will remain vigilant to any unusual activity relevant to the schools.
