Three Charged for Drugs

Three people were indicted by the Perry County Grand Jury, following their arrests March 5, 2010 when authorities say an investigation by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office uncovered illegal trafficking of morphine and marijuana.

45-year-old Daniel Jacobs is charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs with a school specification and one count of trafficking in marijuana. 37-year-old Dixie Owens is charged with two counts of trafficking in prescription drugs with a school specification, one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of permitting drug abuse.

Also charged 42-year-old Robert Carney who is charged with aggravated trafficking in prescription medication with a school specification and permitting drug abuse.

The three will be arraigned at a later date in Perry County Common Pleas Court.
