Three Vehicle Accident under Investigation

A traffic accident in Coshocton County is under investigation.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said around 7:20 p.m. Sunday they received a call reporting an accident involving three vehicles in the area of US 36 and Township Road 508.

Deputies found that a truck driven by Christopher Menniger, of Fresno was traveling east behind a Toyota, driven by Garrett Toney, of Newark, when the truck failed to slow down for the Toyota and rear ended it.

Officials said an SUV driven by Jeremy Miller, of Dundee was also traveling east and was unable to avoid the accident and struck both vehicles.

No injuries were reported. Deputies said alcohol is a suspected factor in the accident.
