Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl to be featured on Cooking Channel

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – One of Zanesville’s sweetest spots will be making a national television appearance.

Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl will be featured on the Cooking Channel as a part of its new show Ice Cream Nation. The program, which was originally intended to be aired on the Food Network, will highlight various ice cream shops around the country and show just why it is one of America’s favorite treats.

“Although the show hasn’t been aired yet, people have been flocking in here thanks to social media and the word of mouth and it’s just been great,” said Bill Sullivan, Owner of Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl. “I don’t know what it’s going to be like after the show is aired but I’m prepared to knock a wall down to accommodate for more people.”

Although Tom’s may be a popular spot to those who live around Zanesville, the program will give people across the nation a chance to see just what the hometown favorite has to offer.

“I’ve got relatives that live all over the country that are going to be watching,” said Sullivan. “It’s not only going to offer great exposure for us, but also Zanesville as well and I think that overall, it’s going to be fantastic.”

The episode is scheduled to air July 17 at 8:00 pm on the Cooking Channel.
