Car Crashes Into Building

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Zanesville Police say two people were injured, one seriously, after a car went out of control striking two other vehicles before slamming into the Cash Max and Little Caesars building on Maple Avenue Thursday morning. According to ZPD the driver of the car, identified as 57-year-old Jeff Fouch was cited for failure to control.

Buckeye Lake Water Levels Lowered

LICKING COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The process of lowering the water levels at Buckeye Lake to winter levels began on Thursday. This follows the states decision to maintain the lower levels until the dam can be replaced. According to ODNR the partial draining that began Thursday will continue for about a week.

Man Charged in BP Robbery

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Zanesville Police say 23-year-old D. Landrius Krouskoupf has been charged in connection to the armed robbery of a maple avenue gas station. Krouskoupf is being held in the Zanesville City Jail on $300,000 bond. A second person arrested that night was not charged.

Man Pleads Guilty to Trafficking in Cocaine

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – John Jamison the 4th, of Zanesville, has pled guilty to four counts of trafficking in cocaine. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says Jamison was charged in connection to a drug raid in august of 2014 at 1329 Pallas avenue.
