Linden Avenue Closed for Sinkhole Repairs

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – The City of Zanesville and the Genesis Wyoming Railroad are working hand in hand to repair the sinkhole on Linden Ave. just past Goodman Steel. The road will be closed Tuesday for an estimated two days so that repairs can be completed.

3 Killed in Overnight Crash

PATASKALA, OHIO (AP) – A car crash in Licking County last night has killed three people. Police tell the Columbus Dispatch the crash involved a car and a minivan in Pataskala, with one of the vehicles apparently crossing the highway’s center line.

Ohio State Alumni Club of Muskingum County’s Annual Spring Auction

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – OSU football great, former All American defensive lineman, Matt Finkes will speak at the Ohio State Alumni Club of Muskingum County’s Annual Spring Auction this Thursday. The auction starts at 5:30 P.M. at the VFW on Putnam Ave. Tickets are $20. All proceeds go straight to the club’s scholarship fund.

Mock Accident at Maysville High School

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – At the scene of a mock accident, Maysville High School students received a lesson on the dangers of distracted driving Monday afternoon. Two local fire departments along with area law enforcement agencies and genesis set up the crash in the school’s parking lot.

COLUMBUS, OHIO (AP) – Former Florida Governor and possible presidential hopeful Jeb Bush visits Ohio Tuesday. Bush is set to speak at the annual meeting for the State Chamber of Commerce.
