Tournament Volleyball Results 10.20.21

ROSECRANS: 1 TORONTO: 3

The Lady Bishops were eliminated from the OHSAA State Volleyball tournament after a loss to Toronto.

DIV Toronto took three of the four sets 25-15, 25-23, 22-25 and 25-18. Toronto will now move on to play number one seed Shenandoah. The Zeps took down River in their sectional game.

MINERVA: 0 TRI-VALLEY: 3

In a DII sectional match up the Tri-Valley Scotties eliminated Minerva from tournament play. Tri-Valley will now play in a district semi-final game on October 26 against East Liverpool.

Lakewood: 0 Buckeye Valley: 3

Lancer Volleyball season comes to an end tonight in a 0-3 loss to Buckeye Valley in tournament play. Buckeye Valley will play Bishop Hartley on October 28.

UTICA: 1 GRANVILLE: 3

The Blue Aces ended Utica’s season winning 18-25, 24-26, 25-13 and 17-25.

Number 9 seed Granville will now face Highland the 2 seed on October 27 at 7:30pm.

BUCKEYE TRAIL: 1 GARAWAY: 3

Buckeye’s Trail’s season comes to an end at the hands of Garaway. The Pirates won 20-25, 25-22, 17-25 and 9-25.

Garaway will now face Fort Frye. Fort Frye defeated Morgan to advance in the DIII tournament 25-9, 25-15 and 25-18.

UNIOTO: 0 Sheridan: 3

The Sheridan Generals advance to the district semi-final in the DII Southeast Region. They’ll host Circleville on October 26 at 6pm.
