Toyota Customers Questioning Other Car Companies
The recent Toyota recall isn’t just affecting drivers, it’s having a positive affect on American-made car companies.
Dutro new car sales manager, Dav Wallace, says more people are visiting the car lot.
"We’ve seen a lot more inquiries, a lot more Toyota cars coming through-late model Toyotas driving through the lot and kind of looking at our Fords, Nissans, and our Lincoln Mercury’s, " says Wallace.
Wallace says he’s not sure all Toyota customers are ready to make that switch to a new car company just yet.
"A lot of people that buy Toyotas, they’re very loyal to their brand and when something happens of this nature, I think it’ll get people at least looking at a Ford, " says Wallace.
Wallace says he hasn’t noticed sales increasing from the Toyota recall yet because of the weather, but he says he does expect some kind of increase soon.
