Tri-Valley School Bus Driver Sentenced

A Tri-Valley School bus driver involved in a June 2010 accident that killed a six-year-old boy learned her fate in Muskingum County Court Thursday morning. Judge Jay Vinsel sentenced 48-year-old Carol Oler to 30 days in jail and a two year driving suspension. In February Oler entered a no contest plea to charges of vehicular manslaughter and failure to control in the death of six-year-old Kasey King. An earlier charge of vehicular homicide was dropped as part of a plea deal. Oler remains on unpaid administrative leave with the Tri-Valley School District.
