Tri-Valley & Sheridan to battle for valuable playoff points

The Tri-Valley Scotties and Sheridan Generals are both hungry for wins as the MVL powers prepare to meet at Jack Anderson Stadium Friday night.

Tri-Valley is 7-0 on the season, but is only ranked 13th in Division II, Region 7. The Dawgs’ standing in the region figures to improve if they can win upcoming showdowns against the Generals, Maysville and Philo.

Sheridan is 10th in Division III, Region 11 following a three-point loss to Philo last week. The Generals also suffered a loss to Zanesville in week 3.

The clash will be broadcast on Z92 with kickoff coming at 7. A delayed television broadcast will air on WHIZ Saturday morning at 10:30.

The Cambridge vs. Zanesville game will be broadcast on AM1240; kickoff is set for Friday night at 7.
