Trinity Full Gospel Church Teams Up With City of Zanesville and Rotary Club for Good Neighbor Day

Trinity Full Gospel Church teamed up with the Zanesville Rotary Club and the City of Zanesville for “Good Neighbor Day” to clean up local neighborhood streets.

Approximately one month ago, the church sent out a team to canvas the area and speak with local residents about the idea. Interested residents were then able to sign up if they desired to receive help with certain projects.

“Today we are just simply going out into the community and we’re doing some work projects for some residents around our church neighborhood. We teamed up with the Zanesville Rotary Club and the City of Zanesville. It’s what they call Good Neighbor Day. We’re just going out in our community and letting them know that we are here as a church, and that we want to reach into the community and help, and let them know that we care, and just be a good neighbor to them,” said Trinity Full Gospel Head Pastor Donny Rowland.

Participants will be helping with a variety of different projects such as lawn mowing, cleaning out gutters, and carrying larger items off resident’s property for recycling. Pastor Rowland added he thought there would be a strong connection between the church’s mission statement and participating in the event.

“We’ve been telling our congregation that you got to know your “why”; why you exist, why you’re here. That is why Trinity Full Gospel is here. This is why we exist, to reach into our community. So we just want to be a light into our community, to be able to share the light of Jesus, and let them know that we’re here and we care about the neighborhood around us,” added Rowland.

The church would like to not only continue with having more Good Neighbor Days in the future, but to also connect with residents of other areas that they were not able to help this time.
