Troy “Happy Hour” Nelson

Troy A. “Happy Hour” Nelson, of Zanesville, Ohio, was born on July 10, 1961, to Bill Robbins and Louanna Robbins. Troy passed away on October 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and laughter, that will never be forgotten.
Together again and making heaven a little louder are his grandparents, Donald and Ruthie Wickham; his father, Bill Robbins; and his father-in-law, Lynn Dennis.
Carrying on his one-of-a-kind, crazy spirit are his loving wife, Marquita (Dennis) Nelson; his mother, Louanna (Nelson) Robbins; his sister, Rebecca Robbins; his five daughters, Courtney (Nelson) Seitz, Haley (Nelson) Bednarczuk, Erika Nelson, Jessica Nelson, and Andi (Nelson) Arbuckle; one son; his amazing 19 grandchildren; four nieces and a nephew; along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Troy attended Philo High School and worked as a roofer and painter, though some might say he was a little messy! He enjoyed the simple things in life, including fishing, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, spending time with his beloved dog, Pom Pom, visiting the East End Cafe, and, most importantly, being with his family.
Troy was truly one of a kind, and his unique personality and love for those around him will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
