Trucker Crushed By His Truck

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says a man was killed when he was crushed by his own truck. The Sheriff says it happened early Saturday morning at the Auto Zone Distribution Center. Lutz says the driver 67-year-old Robert Stacy of Tennessee was leaving the facility with a full load and noticed the guard on duty, stopped and thought he had set his break and got out of his truck. Lutz says Stacy then noticed the truck starting to roll away and it hit a curb and Stacy was struck and crushed by the truck. Lutz says Stacy was med-flighted  to Grant Hospital in Columbus but died there. The accident remains under investigation.
