Two East Muskingum Schools Teachers Resign

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating two alleged cases of teacher misconduct. East Muskingum Local Schools Superintendent Jill Johnson says in the first case a teacher is accused of inappropriate “verbal interaction” with a student. Johnson says after reporting the incident to authorities the teacher was directed not to have any contact with the students of the district while the matter was under investigation. The teacher resigned June 6th.  In another case a teacher was accused of “inappropriate interaction” with a student. That teacher was also directed to not have any contact with student while the matter was under investigation. That teacher resigned on June 13th.
