Two events coming to Colony Square Mall this weekend

Zanesville, Ohio- Several events are coming to the Colony Square Mall this weekend.

Special leasing and marketing representative Kevin Pinson explains the first event will run this Friday through Sunday and is something that has been missing from the mall for several years.

“First of all we are bringing back our popular stock car show. We haven’t had it for a couple of years, we’ve got a new partnership with Midway Speedway down in Crooksville so they are brining out about thirty cars and of course all the racers will be here and track officials as well. So if you are into dirt track racing come on out and have a good time and see all the cars that will be racing this season.”

Pinson notes the second event will take place this Saturday for those feeling beautiful.

“Also this weekend Sunburst Beauty Pageant will be out here with the Winter Prince and Princess Pageant. That starts at 11 o’clock on Saturday. It’s for boys ages three and under and girls and women up to age 27. They can register online at sunburstbeauty.com or they can come and pick up an application here at our office or at Colony Center in the food court.”

The winners from the pageant will advance to the regional level.
