Two Injured in Northpointe Drive Accident
Two people were transported to the hospital following an accident Wednesday evening.
It took place on Northpointe Drive near McGlade School Road around 5:30pm.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol said 72-year-old Michael Foster of Dresden was traveling north on Northpointe when a southbound vehicle drove left of center while attempting to pass traffic. Sgt. Jeff Jirles said 24-year-old Zoena Larue of Coshocton lost control and struck Foster’s vehicle.
Authorities said Foster was transported to Genesis Hospital with serious injures. A passenger in Foster’s vehicle 71-year-old Melody Foster was also transported to Genesis. The crash remains under investigation.
