Two Vehicle Motorcycle Involved Fatal Crash in Fairfield CountyPLEASANT TOWNSHIP – The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle motorcycle involved fatal crash that occurred on State Route 37, in Pleasant Township of Fairfield County. The crash occurred on June 11, 2016 at approximately 11:38 a.m.

Rebecca N. Reid, age 25, of Newark, was traveling southbound on State Route 37 in a 2008 Ford Focus when she traveled left of center and struck a 1995 Harley Davidson Tourglide driven by Ronald E. Storts, age 62, of Columbus. Reid and Storts were transported to Fairfield Medical Center. Reid was treated for her injuries and released. Storts succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Pleasant Township Fire and EMS along with Troopers from the Lancaster Post responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation. The Ohio State Highway Patrol urges all motorists to not drive while impaired and use all available safety equipment.
