Two Z-ville Women Facing Drug Charges

The Muskingum County/Zanesville City Joint Drug Unit says after several months of investigation two Zanesville women are facing drug charges. 21-year-old McKenna Brock and 20-year-old Kimberly Love Brewer, both of Zanesville, were taken into custody by sheriff deputies on Friday May 4th after a brief pursuit on I-70. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz and Zanesville Police Chief Tony Coury says Brock is facing multiple charges including possession of drugs, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and trafficking in drugs. Brewer is also facing multiple charges including possession of drugs, failure to comply with the order of a police officer and tampering with evidence. Brewer was also wanted out of Muskingum County Common Pleas Court for a felony indictment for possession of drugs and possessing drug abuse instruments.   The investigation resulted in the recovery of $10,000 worth of methamphetamine and heroin as well a one vehicle and $3600 in cash. Brock, who is facing 48 years in prison if convicted on all charges, is being held on a $500,000 bond in the county jail and Brewer, who is facing 14 years in prison if convicted on all charges, is being held on $200,000 bond in the county jail. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests could come in the near future. The Zanesville Police Department Special Investigating Unit and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force were also part of the investigation.
