United Way To Hold Pancake Breakfast At Christ’s Table
The United Way and Christ’s Table in Zanesville need your help.
The United Way will be holding a pancake breakfast at Christ’s Table this coming Sunday. The proceeds will be split between both organizations.
"This is the first year we’ve done this. Keely Warden from Christ’s Table opened this up and wanted to know if we wanted to be a part of it and it’s just a great way to get some more dollars into the campaign and with the economic amount I saw yesterday that Kelly had 9400 meals served last month, anything we can do to raise donations for Christ’s Table is another agency we can help," said United Way Campaign Chair Chad Tom.
Tom says donations have been down at Christ’s Table along with other agencies and he feels this is a great way to help.
"I remember earlier in the summer with the fans, it got so hot, the community came out and donated, and we’re in that same path now, the need has gone out for donations for Christ’s Table, Salvation Army, the food pantries, Eastside is another one of those agencies and the community has rose to the occasion just like they always do in Zanesville," said Tom.
The breakfast will be held on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and are asking the public for a 5 dollar donation.
