Upcoming Book Sale at John McIntire Library
ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to stock your bookshelves! The Friends of the Library group from the Muskingum County Library System is hosting a book sale this Saturday, May 4th.
The day will begin with an exclusive sale for Friends of the Library members from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, followed by the public sale from 12 PM to 2 PM. For just $2, attendees can fill a bag with books of their choice. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Friends of the Library Group, supporting the many programs offered by the library.
“The proceeds are used for programs and events that the library is going to be sponsoring. The money we get through the organization, we turn it back over to the library for events and programs that they offer to the public,” Vice President of Friends of the Library Group Beverly Bell said.
The sale will take place on the lower level of John McIntire Library and will offer a wide variety of books suitable for all ages and interests.
“A total variety. You get to choose from mysteries, romance, paper backs, hard back, teens, and children,” Bell said.
The John McIntire Library is located at 220 N 5th St, Zanesville.
