Update on Apartment Fire
Washington Township Fire Authorities said Friday morning that one person was taken to the hospital following a fire.
Washington and Perry Township Fire Departments as well as the Zanesville Fire Department were called to 2986 Brookside Drive on a call of a fire with possible entrapments around 3:30 Friday morning.
Officials said that the fire began in a first floor apartment and was contained to that apartment.
The resident was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, all other residents were safely evacuated.
