One Injuried in UTV Accident

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that took place early Sunday morning.
The sheriff’s office said just before 3:30 a.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call in reference to an ATV accident on County Road 1A near US Route 36.
Officials said that a UTV had rolled on its side trapping the driver 51-year-old Matthew Edie, of Coshocton. Edie was freed and flown to Akron General Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
The sheriff’s office said speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the accident, which remains under investigation.
