Vandals Arrested in Coshocton

Three people remain in custody at the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Justice Center in connection to a string of vandalism last weekend.

22-year-old Jason Matis, 26-year-old John Newell Jr and 25-year-old Destiny Newell are each charged with one count of vandalism, a felony of the fifth degree.

Additional charges are likely after a review by the Coshocton County Prosecutor.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said the incident is currently under investigation.
