Veterans Parade in Need of Participants

Next weekend the community will have two ways to honor veterans in our area.
The Noon and Daybreak Rotary Clubs have joined together to host a Veterans’ Day Parade. It steps off on November 11 at 11am. The organizations are still looking for entries for those looking to be in the parade.
“We want to make sure that everyone knows that they are invited to be a part of the parade so they can have an entry in the parade and those are available on visitzanesville.com and feel free to stop here at the Welcome Center and pick up a parade route application,” said Noon Rotary President Kelly Ashby.
The parade will begin at Secrest Auditorium, go up to Shinnick, over to 5th, 5th to Main and Main to 3rd, entertaining those that have come to watch.
“We want to invite you to downtown Zanesville to celebrate and honor our Muskingum County Veteran’s and it’s always a fabulous parade. We have marching bands, marching bands make a parade that live music is incredible and we already have over 50 participants,” said Ashby.
If you can’t make it to the Veterans Parade on the 11th or would like to enjoy it again, you can watch in at 12pm Monday, November 13 on WHIZ-TV and at 1pm on Fox 5.
