Video Shows Glimpse Of Thompson Animals

A video from 2008 provides a glimpse into the lives of exotic animals once owned by Terry Thompson who last year released them before committing suicide.  The video was obtained when  Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents executed a search warrant on Thompson’s Kopchak Road farm in June of 2008.  The video shows a bear being fed, as well as shots of a caged monkey, and caged lions, tigers and a black leopard.  Its unclear if any of the animals were among those deputies killed last fall as they responded to reports of loose animals after Thompson’s suicide.  At the time of his death Thompson had only been home a few weeks after spending a year in prison on a gun conviction.
