Water Main Break Cancels School

Zanesville,OH-  An early morning water main break has led to the cancellation of classes for some students.

Zanesville City Schools reports Zane Grey Elementary and Intermediate are closed Friday, December 6. All other buildings remain open.

The City of Zanesville advises that the Water Division is responding to a water main break in the area of Pine Street and Muskingum Avenue. Crews are working to contain the break and make repairs. All areas west of the Y- Bridge and south of West Main St. may be affected by low pressure.

A precautionary boil alert is being issued for customers in the affected area once the repair is completed and pressure is restored.
