Water Main Break on Pinecrest Drive

A water main break on Pinecrest Drive has forced Muskingum County Water officials to issue a boil advisory .

Water Department Manager Don Madden says the areas affected are west of the Pinecrest water storage tank which includes the Timber Run Subdivision, Walnut Hills Subdivision and the Villages of Mt. Sterling and Gratiot.

The boil advisory does not affect areas along the West Pike or old National Road.

Madden says the advisory is in effect until further notice.
