Waveline N. Maziar 1925 – 2018

Waveline N. Maziar, 92 of South Zanesville, died 5:45 AM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, following a sudden illness at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. She was born Wednesday, November 18, 1925, in Nelsonville, the daughter of Charles & Elizabeth Skivers and married Peter Maziar, Jr. on Monday, November 22, 1943.

Waveline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who raised a family of seven and enjoyed it to the fullest. She was an avid shopper and loved to travel.

Waveline is survived by two daughters: Connie Hiles of Zanesville, & Peggy (Ben) Damron of Dresden; Three sons: Steve Maziar, Michael (Kathy) Maziar both of Zanesville & Paul (Tawny) Maziar of Dresden; one son-in-law: Mike Snode of Zanesville; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great, great grandson and one great, great granddaughter soon to arrive.

In addition to her parents, Waveline was preceded in death by her husband: Peter Maziar, Jr. one son: Peter Maziar, III one daughter: Nancy Snode; one daughter-in-law: Becky Maziar; one son-in-law: Bill Hiles; three sisters and a special nephew: Harold Lehman.

Friends may call Friday, July 27, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral service will be held11:00 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2018, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Waveline will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
