ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It’s the penultimate week of the regular season in high school football. And WHIZ Radio has a big lineup of games for you to listen to this Friday night.

On Z92 Radio we will be in Perry County for the big rivalry matchup between Sheridan and Tri-Valley. The Generals have the most overall wins in the MVL at 7-1. The Scotties have yet to lose a game in conference play and are coming off a bye week last Friday. This game often decides who wins the MVL title and this year it will go a long way in determining who wins the Big School Division. David Kinder and Andrew Allison will have the call from Paul Culver Jr. Stadium.

On Highway 103 Radio the oldest rivals in the Muskingum Valley League go head-to-head at Jim Rockwell Stadium as New Lexington hosts Crooksville. These two have met on the football field annually since the 1930s. Crooksville looks to pick up their first win of the season. New Lexington will look to snap a six-game losing streak after they started the season 2-0.

And on AM 1240 Radio the Zanesville Blue Devils are back home to play 4-4 Watkins Memorial. Zanesville had their three-game winning streak snapped last Friday and come into week nine 4-3. Jeff Moore and Garrett Young will have the call.

All three games kickoff at 7 p.m. and stream online at whiznews.com.
