WHIZ Sports 4-21: John Glenn Softball Defeats West Muskingum

NEW CONCORD, OH- The West Muskingum Tornadoes went to John Glenn to take on the talented Muskies on this nice Thursday afternoon.

The Tornadoes got up early after their first at bat taking a quick 2-0 lead. But the Muskies made quick work of that when they got their turn to bring out the bats.

Sydney Marshall got things started as bombed one past the fences and put the home team on the board with her homerun.

Bendle would then hit a line drive to the out field that hits the fence and she rounded the bases and adds to the scoreboard with her triple to put them up 3-2. The Muskies wouldn’t take their foot off the gas as they defeated the Tornadoes 18-2.
