Wilbert Wayne Wilson (June 17, 2010 – December 24, 2010)

W. Wayne Wilson, 72 of Zanesville, was called home to his eternal reward on Friday, December 24th 2010 at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Wayne was born June 17, 1938 in Fairmont, WV, the son of the late Spray & Vivian (Moore) Wilson. He retired in 1994 from Owens Brockway Glass House after 31 years. Wayne was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and well liked by all who knew him. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife Cathy (Core) Wilson, whom he married March 8, 2003; daughters Sallie Jones of Chicago, Lori Wood of Zanesville; three sons Doug (Rachel) Wilson of Cambridge, Scott (Jen) Wilson and Terry Wilson of Zanesville; brother Ed (Nette) Wilson of Frazeysburg, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as other extended members of the family including Tommy Johnson of Senecaville.

In addition to his parents Wayne is preceded in death by his 1st wife Sarah Wilson who passed away May 12, 2000 and a granddaughter Vicky Lynn Wilson.

Visitations will be 4 to 6 pm, Tuesday December 28th at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls with a memorial service at 6 pm.
