ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â Falls Home and School League is having their annual festival Saturday.
This year’s theme is wild west. The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Muskingum High School. The festival will have a raffle, silent auction, along with fun and games.
“I think it’s important for the community it gives students outside of our school a chance to have a fun day,” said Falls Home and School League President Natina Howe. “That’s not very expensive but it’s also a fundraiser for our home and school league that goes back to our students.”
Howe said without the support from the community the festival would not be as successful as it is.
“Without the parents and the families at falls this would not happen and the community giving us the donations. The parents are here working the festival. They are wrapping baskets. They’re helping us set up. And it means the world to us. That they’re involved enough to help be supportive so that their kids can have things like field days field trips, and give the teachers their teacher’s grants and without them this would not happen,” said Howe,
Howe said if you are looking for any last minute mother’s day gifts, you’re in luck featured in the silent auction along with mother’s day theme basket there are OSU blanket valued at $300, Clippers tickets and more.
