Woman Arrested in Domestic Case

A woman goes before County Court, Monday, to enter a plea in connection to a charge of misdemeanor aggravated menacing.

Muskingum County Court records show 32-year-old Kelly Hale plead not guilty. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says Hale of Kerri Lane was arrested Sunday night after an altercation with another woman. Sheriff Lutz says Hale and her boyfriend were at the residence when another woman showed up, an altercation between the two women ensued.

Lutz says Hale was attempting to break a window in a vehicle when her gun accidentally went off. The woman fled the scene, wrecking her vehicle into a power pole,knocking out power. Hale’s bond is set at $5,000 her trial is set for October.
