Woman Hit by Car Still in Critical Condition
A 53-year-old woman remains in critical condition after being struck by a car yesterday afternoon in Heath.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Ohio 79 near its intersection with Hopewell Drive.
Heath Fire Department Captain Earl Miller says Holly Hammond was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a car.
She was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital and then MedFlighted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Miller says Hammond appears to have sustained serious injuries at the scene.
