Woman Injured in Licking County Rollover Accident
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues its investigation of a rollover accident in Licking County late last night.
It happened on US 62 near the intersection of State Route 657 around 10:40 p.m.
Granville Post Troopers say 17-year-old Maxwell Chick of Granville was traveling with two passengers, 17-year-old Chelsea Daniels and 16-year-old Taylor Schoeph-both of Granville-on State Route 657. After stopping, they say Chick proceeded to pull out in front of 30-year-old Ruth Adams of Mount Vernon, who was going west on US 62. The troopers’ report indicates Adams swerved to avoid hitting Chick and rolled over onto its top. It says Chick continued south on State Route 657 before returning to the scene.
Chick, Daniels, and Schoeph were not injured, but Adams was taken to the hospital. Her condition is not known at this time.
No one has been cited in the incident yet.
