Woodlawn Avenue Shooting Suspect In Custody

At 6:03 p.m. Thursday evening, Zanesville Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a shooting at 1236 Woodlawn Avenue in Zanesville.
Two white males, Lance Loughman, 19, and Julian Moore, 23, were shot in the kitchen of their home. The alleged shooter is 18-year-old Robert D. Barr. He was arrested without incident at 1019 Findley Avenue at 2:50 p.m. Friday.
According to Zanesville Police Chief Ken Miller, Barr is currently in custody and will be charged with two counts of attempted murder with a firearm, one count of felonious assult with a firearm, two counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm, and one count of aggravated burglary with a firearm.
Loughman and Moore were wounded and transported by Community Ambulance to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Their injuries are serious, but both are alive and in recovery.
Chief Miller believes that the culprit did know both victims prior to the incident and that the motive was robbery.
