Wounded Warrior Poker Run at Horseshoe Bar and Grill

Horseshoe Bar and Grill is holding its first ever Wounded Warriors Poker Run this Saturday.
The first bike goes out at 11:00a.m. and the last bike comes in at 5:00p.m. Sheriff Matt Lutz will be the guest auctioneer. The Horseshoe will also have 50/50, a gun raffle, food and a live performance by the band Familiar Stranger. Bar manager Niki Angelo explained how they decided to support Wounded Warriors.
"The Wounded Warrior Project, we have a lot of veterans that come in here. A lot of the older guys, a lot of younger guys, so we just wanted this to be what the horse shoe sponsors. So we figured we would go ahead and get approved for the wounded warrior project."
If you are unable to participate in the run, Angelo says that’s perfectly fine! You can still come down and buy in for the poker hand. The cost is $10 per person or $15 for a couple, with a $500 dollar pay our for the best hand
"We just hope everybody comes out, and participates. It’s going to be a really good thing and we are hoping to raise a lot of money and its going to a good cause."
The run lasts from 11:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., beginning and ending at Horseshoe Bar and Grill, with stops at Blue Front Lounge, Jacktown Pub, Hole in the Wall, Snack Bar and the River Queen.
