Wreaths Across America to be held at Greenwood Cemetery

ZANESVIILE, Ohio- Snouffer Funeral Home is gearing up for the annual Wreaths Across America event.
Local coordinator, Brad McCune of the Snouffer Funeral Homes, said more than 1100 locations throughout the United States will be participating at the exact same time.
“12 o clock,” McCune said. “Noon at Greenwood Cemetery. We’ll lay seven ceremonial wreaths. One for each branch of the military and also the MIA, POW men and women.”
McCune said some wreaths are donated, but if you are interested in purchasing a wreath for your loved one you may do so by logging onto wreathsacrossamerica.org or stop by Snouffer Funeral Home.
“It’s just a really neat service. It’s a really neat opportunity to come together as a community and join a national event. With the remember, honor, and teach being the continual theme of Wreaths Across America, we just feel like it’s a great opportunity to remember those veterans who have served. Honor those serving and teach future generations what our military has done for us for many years,” McCune said.
Wreaths Across America will take place on December 17th.
