Wutzler Sentenced in Runaway Case

The 23-year-old man who ran away with a teenager in September was sentenced today in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Mike Wutzler II received a one-year prison sentence from Judge Kelly Cottrill.

Wutzler was sentenced on two felony counts of interference with custody.

In September, Wutzler and 14-year-old Zanesville High School student Christina Ford ran away to South Carolina without her parents knowledge, setting off a search for the teen that lasted several days.
