YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day Brings Free Family Fun

ZANESVILLE, OH – A fun and healthy day for families is coming up this weekend.
The Muskingum County YMCA is hosting its Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 18th. The free event is part of the Y’s national initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of kids and families. It’s also a great opportunity to learn more about the YMCA.
“I think it gives people a chance to come see what we offer to the community, without having to pay a fee.” Muskingum County YMCA Senior Program Director, Jared Hall, said. “It’s free to the public and if you do sign up for a membership while you’re there, there are no joining fees on any of the memberships all day.”
There will be plenty to do, including bounce houses, local vendors, and hands-on activities designed to get everyone moving and involved.
“We’re going to have a bunch of vendors, snacks, obstacle course, games in the gym, bounce house, just a bunch of fun activities to do.” Hall said.
Healthy Kids Day will take place from 11 a-m to 1 p-m. For more information, you can visit the YMCA website.
